Help raise awareness of the biggest change in renting for a generation.

On 1 May 2026, private renters got a new set of protections. This includes an end to section 21 evictions, which means landlords who want their tenants to move out now need to provide a valid reason.

The Renters Rights Act has made the biggest changes to renting for more than 30 years, there is a lot to get your head around, even for renters, and people who work with them, who were well-versed in the old system.

We have some materials for raising awareness available here. To stay updated with the changes as they come in and the government finalises details, sign up for email updates today.
