The Renters' Reform Bill

Complete this form to receive policy briefings and up to date information about this legislation as it progresses through Parliament.

Currently the law in England means renters can be evicted without reason and given just eight weeks to pack up and move out.

These unfair evictions need to end, which is why Generation Rent welcomed the Government's pledge to end Section 21 'no fault' evictions in 2019.

The Government have since promised that the White Paper for the Renters Reform Bill will be published in 2022.
